Masters of our craft
Your design is our starting point. Whether it’s classic or pushing the envelope is fine with us.
For starters, our window options include raked, curved, circular or arched.
As for doors, we can handcraft your internal and external, sliding, bi-fold, pivot, double/French or single doors and more.
We recommend Western Red Cedar, Rosewood and a range of Australian hardwoods. They must be select grade before we’ll touch them. Class 1 Australian hardwoods, or similar, are our choice for sill profiling because of their exemplary performance.
If it’s important to you for us to use certified timbers under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) scheme, we can do that too. You’d know that helps forest conservation and management.
And, those architectural doors and windows we’ll be making for you need to function reliably for your customers. That’s why we put a lot of thought into the mechanical componentry we install – they’re definitely not run of the mill.
Services
- You’ll get an estimate of the costs and any design assistance you need
- You’ll have the full production drawings in your hands before we press any buttons for manufacturing
- You’ll have peace of mind we’ll triple-check the measurements (still haven’t pressed the buttons yet!)
- Ok, now we press the button. This means you’ll have an advanced manufacturing plant to precision engineer your design. Our plant has a massive capability; we work with a wide range of timbers and sustainable Australian hardwoods are our specialty.
Are we a good fit?
Residential contract work for windows and doors and commercial projects are our bread and butter work. We also partner with architects and builders for high-end unique homes. Custom-fit, made-to-order is how we work.
If you need a standard, off-the-shelf single window or door, though, we’re probably not the company for you, sorry.
Talking timber
It might pay (and save) to have a chat with our team members before you specify hardware for your windows or doors. We can guide you on the top-performing componentry for your needs. You can expect high quality hardware when you work with us.
Trees for our future
It makes sense for a joinery business such as ours to support more sustainable practices in timber harvesting. That’s why we prefer to source timber from suppliers certified under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Australian Forestry Standards Certifications (AFSC).
But it doesn’t stop there.
You’ll also be tapping into up-to-the minute manufacturing technology and design practices that minimise production waste.
Your choice of timbers
Maybe you have your eye on a particular timber for your design. Perhaps you’re open to suggestions to see what could work. Your time is precious, so here are timbers that have proven outstanding performance for solid timber windows and doors.
